Legal and General update critical illness policy

Leading provider Legal and General have updated their critical illness proposition by introducing a new range of additional support. By partnering with RedArc nurses, who work with insurers to add value to products, they have introduced six more services.

The new services include a Second Medical Opinion, mental health support, carer support, Help at Home and Eldercare. They also offer serious illness and disability or bereavement support, all of which are tailored to the individual’s circumstances.

As part of continually adding value to protection, Legal and General want the new changes to support the customer’s wellbeing and mental health during the life of their critical illness policy. They want their customers to have a positive claims experience and to support the post-claim process, all at no extra cost to the policyholder.
