The Exeter set to enter the impaired lives arena
The Exeter has announced plans to enhance its current Managed Life plan to include impaired lives. Customers with impaired lives often have existing health conditions that can make it difficult to obtain life insurance, as this is deemed too high a risk for providers.
Exeter’s Managed Life Plan was launched early in 2017, specifically targeted towards those with type 2 diabetes and with a high BMI. The provider believes they are filling a hole in the market left open by recent developments and departing providers, which has left some consumers unable to protect themselves against worst case scenarios.
