Vitality hand out £63m worth of additional value

Health-focused life cover provider Vitality has revealed their figures for 2017. In the 12 months between July 2016 and June 2017, Vitality provided policyholders with £63m worth of additional reward benefits.

Vitality believes reward and incentive to be a big part of their popularity. They want their customers to engage with their policy as much as possible, especially if that means helping them stay healthy at the same time.

To remind customers of just how much they have saved and earned, they are delivering half-yearly Value Statements. These will reveal how many Vitality points have been accumulated, current Vitality membership status, and the amount saved through rewards and discounts on their life, health and serious illness plans.

Data shows that half of engaged customers have salved more than half of their annual premiums, with a quarter even saving their entire premium cost through Vitality reward programmes.
